Bracket Jackets^TM, a patented product created by Debi Cekosh, is a division of Homemakeovers^TM located on Vashon Island, in Washington State.

Debi is a design professional specializing in Interior Design. She has worked on both commercial and residential projects throughout the United States, and teaches design in the Seattle area.

The idea for the Bracket Jacket came to Debi as part of a project to design a local art gallery. The gallery needed sturdy shelves and was using traditional metal brackets to support them. Debi thought that there must be a better way. She went back to her studio and created the Bracket Jacket, which she then covered and installed over the metal shelf brackets at the gallery.

The response to her clever idea from people coming into the gallery was overwhelming. They wanted Bracket Jackets for themselves. With the help of her husband Bruce, a talented fine furniture maker, Debi refined the idea, gave it the name Bracket Jacket, and patented the concept.

As a designer, Debi saw the great potential for individuals to customize their shelving, using the Bracket Jackets and their own creativity, to enhance and personalize any room. Just decorate, install, and enjoy.
